Before you begin

Your words,
with care.

Your voice is transcribed on your iPhone. Audio is not sent to the prayer-writing providers.

With your permission, your reviewed text goes through OpenRouter to OpenAI to write the prayer. These providers may retain data under their policies; this is not a promise of zero retention.

Carried keeps one current attempt temporarily on your device for recovery. Each new prayer starts fresh, without a journal or a saved-prayer library.

Is Carried available yet?

Carried is in development for iPhone. This page is a preview of the app; a release date has not been announced.

Do I have to speak out loud?

No. You can type your reflection instead. If you speak, you can read and correct the transcript before creating your prayer.

Is the prayer written with AI?

Yes. With your permission, OpenRouter sends your reviewed reflection to OpenAI to help write a Christian prayer. It is a prayer for you to pray, not a message from God or a promise of an outcome. Scripture passages identify their source.

What happens to my reflection?

On-device transcription turns your recording into text. Only the current text you review and agree to send goes to the prayer-writing providers, never your audio. OpenRouter and OpenAI may retain data according to their policies. Carried temporarily keeps one current attempt on your device so an interrupted prayer can be recovered; it does not keep a history of prayers.

Will Carried be free?

The planned experience includes one free First Prayer, followed by a subscription for continued access. The First Prayer is not a subscription trial and does not automatically start a subscription.

Do I need an account or a prayer journal?

No Carried account, journal, or saved-prayer library is part of this experience. Begin with this reflection, pray, and finish with Amen.
